Our focus will be on improving the health of people living in our communities, ensuring access to the best quality services. To achieve this we will be working directly with local people to ensure that services are shaped by them and reflect their needs. We will also work with local authorities, local healthcare professionals, voluntary organisations and other stakeholders.
What are we looking for and what can we offer?
As Independent Vice Chair, your focus will be strategic and impartial, providing an external view of our work. These roles are key to ensuring that the CCG acts in the best interests of the health of its patient population at all times and that it commissions high quality services, which are responsive to the views of local people, improve patient outcomes, secure the best use of public money and are in line with the NHS Constitution.
Ideally you will live within the Birmingham and Solihull CCG geography or you will be able to demonstrate that you have an affiliation with the area. Please note that we can pay local expenses only.
