Solihull Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Solihull Council have submitted the borough’s first Better Care Fund plan to improve local services for older people.
Solihull Clinical Commissioning Group is asking people to take part in a focus group to help establish what patients would like to be considered in the design of the new urgent care centre.
Explaining the idea behind the initiative, Dr Patrick Brooke, Chief Officer for Solihull CCG said:
“Following on from our public consultation earlier in spring this year, we were delighted with the positive responses we received to our proposals.
Solihull Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust are working together to procure a new Urgent Care Centre on the Solihull Hospital site. This will be a single, innovative service that delivers urgent primary care and minor injuries treatment; all under one roof.
