The Croft Medical centre in Solihull organised a male cancer drop in event recently which proved very successful with men taking part in some useful discussions.
Dr Pal and the Macmillan team were on standby to answer any questions and provide beneficial resources.
The session gave the opportunity for the men to speak about particular problems, such as worries about death after diagnosis, increasing positive attitude, telling family, amongst others.
Dr Patrick Brooke, Chief Officer at Solihull Clinical Commissioning Group said:
“The sessions that the Croft Medical Centre offers provides a voice to cancer patients and is a valuable resource to the wellbeing of the people who attend. The group gains support and information from attending and we applaud the medical centre’s continued support to its patients.”
