Reduced fetal movements – Raising Awareness; Preventing Stillbirths; Saving Lives

From a recent survey of 1,300 pregnant women, only 15% of respondents knew how to monitor fetal movement during their pregnancy. In response to this, NHS England has worked with Tommys to help raise awareness of reduced fetal movements. A short video complements a previously published leaflet and the overall ambition to reduce preventable stillbirths across the country.

Solihull CCG is asking local GPs, practice nurses and midwives to share this information with pregnant women and their partners so that they are aware of the importance of thinking about and monitoring their baby’s movements.
